Nventify, Inc., Inc. (“Nventify, Inc.”,”we” or “us”) values the privacy its users. With this in mind, we’re providing this Privacy Policy to explain our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information that we receive through our information technology management software solution and our website located at https://nventify.com/ (the “Site”) (collectively the “Service”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Services.
Revisions to this Privacy Policy
Any information that is collected via our Services is covered by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we’ll notify you of those changes by posting them on the Services or by sending you an email or other notification, and we’ll update the “Last Updated Date” above to indicate when those changes will become effective.
Collection and Use of Information
Account Information. If you create an account by registering with us (“Account”), we’ll collect certain information that can be used to identify you (“PII”), such as your full name, email address, and phone number. You will also be required to provide us with credit card, bank account details or other payment information to process applicable payments relating to use of the Services (“Billing Information”).
Your Third-Party Services Log-in Information. Our Services provides a software solution to help you manage your information technology performance information from third party service providers and to this end, we will collect your login credentials and other access data (“Third Party Services Access”) to access the messages, log files and alerts from those third-party service providers.
Information Collected Using Cookies and other Web Technologies. Like many website owners and operators, we use automated data collection tools such as cookies. Our Cookie Policy below explains how we use cookies.
“Web beacons” (also known as web bugs, pixel tags or clear GIFs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that may be included on our Services for several purposes, including to deliver or communicate with cookies, to track and measure the performance of our Service, to monitor how many visitors view our Services, and to monitor the effectiveness of our advertising. Information Related to Use of the Services. Information Sent by Your Device. We collect certain information that your device (such as mobile phone, iPad, computer, etc.) sends when you use our Services, like a device identifier, user settings and the operating system of your device, as well as information about your use of our Services.

What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your hard drive by a Web server when you access our Services. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you log off from the Services and close your browser. Nventify, Inc.’s Services may place both first party cookies and third party cookies on your device. First party cookies are cookies that Nventify, Inc. places on your device, and third party cookies are cookies that third parties place on your device through the Services. This Privacy Policy covers only our use of cookies and does not include use of cookies by third parties.
How Does Nventify, Inc. Use Cookies?
Nventify, Inc. uses four types of cookies for the following purposes:
- Essential Cookies – Essential cookies are first party cookies that are necessary to navigate the Site and use the Services. For example, essential cookies help remember your preferences as you move around the Site.
- Performance Cookies – Performance cookies collect anonymous data for statistical purposes on your use of the Services. Use of Information Collected
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Services, to administer your use of the Service (including your Account, if you are an Account holder), and to enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our Services. We will use your PII:
To operate and provide Services. We collect and use your PII and other information, such as your Third-Party Services, to operate and provide you with our Services in accordance with our legitimate interests. In addition, we will use your Billing Information to process your payment for the use of our Services.
For informational, promotional and survey purposes. We may use your PII to inform you of our product and service offerings, subject to your ability to opt-out of receiving such information as described below. We may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current Services features or of potential new services. These activities are based on our legitimate interest in undertaking marketing activities to offer you products or services that may be of your interest.
For Customized and Efficient provision of Services. Nventify, Inc. keeps track of the websites and pages you visit within our platform and what features and algorithms you use and how frequently. We use this information to maintain and improve the content, design, usability and quality of the Services; to improve your user experience; to generate and provide statistics regarding use of the platform and the Services to deliver customized content and advertising to users whose behavior indicated that they are interested in a particular subject area, and to develop new product and service offerings. These activities are based on our legitimate interest in improving the functionalities of the Services.
Information that We Share with Third Parties
We will not share any PII that we have collected from or regarding you except as described below:
We consider the information that we collect from our users, including PII, to be our business asset. Thus, if we are acquired by a third party because of transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale or if our assets are acquired by a third party in the event we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, some or all our assets, including your PII, may be disclosed or transferred to a third-party acquirer.
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate: (i) to respond to claims, legal process (including subpoenas); (ii) to protect our property, rights and safety and the property, rights and safety of a third party or the public in general; and (iii) to stop any activity that we consider illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
We may provide your information to third-party vendors who provide services or functions on our behalf, including credit card processing, business analytics, customer service, marketing, distribution of surveys or sweepstakes programs, and fraud prevention, and we may authorize third-party vendors to collect information on our behalf, including as necessary to operate features of the Services. Third-party vendors have access to and may collect information only as needed to perform their functions and are not permitted to share or use the information for any other purpose. They are also required to follow the same data security practices that we ourselves adhere to, and they may be located inside or outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”).
Data Retention
The length of time we retain your PII depends on a number of factors relating to our business needs and legal requirements. In general, we will keep PII for such time as required by applicable law or to exercise our legal rights.
Your Rights and Choices
We offer you choices regarding the collection, use and sharing of your PII and we’ll respect the choices you make. Please note that if you decide not to provide us with the PII that we request, you may not be able to access all the features of the Services. You may exercise any of the rights described in this section below by sending an email to support@nventify.com. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before taking further action on your request.
Opt-Out. We may periodically send you free newsletters and e-mails that directly promote our Services. When you receive such promotional communications from us, you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” (either through your Account or by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive). Please note, however, that we do need to send you certain communications regarding the Services and you will not be able to opt out of those communications -e.g., communications regarding updates to this Privacy Policy or information about billing. Where your PII is processed for direct marketing purposes, you may, at any time ask Nventify, Inc. to cease processing your data for these direct marketing purposes by sending an e-mail to support@nventify.com.
Modifying Your Information. You can access, update or modify the PII associated with your Account by logging into your Account or by sending us an email at support@nventify.com to update your PII. If you want us to delete your PII and your Account, please contact us at support@nventify.com with your request. We’ll take steps to delete your information as soon as we can, but some information may remain in archived/backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law. You further have the right to ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete PII concerning you (and which you cannot update yourself within your Account).
Data Access and Portability. In some jurisdictions, applicable law may entitle you to request copies of your PII held by us. You may also be entitled to request copies of PII that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and/or request us to transmit this information to another service provider (where technically feasible).
Data Retention and Erasure. We generally retain your PII for as long as is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us and to comply with our legal obligations. If you no longer want us to use your information to provide the Services to you, you can request that we erase your PII and close your Account. Please note that if you request the erasure of your PII:
- We may retain some of your PII as necessary for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud detection and prevention and enhancing safety.
- We may retain and use your PII to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations.
- Some copies of your information (e.g., log records) may remain in our database, but are disassociated from personal identifiers. Because we maintain the Services to protect from accidental or malicious loss and destruction, residual copies of your PII may not be removed from our backup systems for a limited period of time.
Withdrawing Consent and Restriction of Processing. Where you have provided your consent to the processing of your PII by Nventify, Inc., you may withdraw your consent at any time by changing your Account settings or by sending a communication to Nventify, Inc. specifying which consent you are withdrawing. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal. Additionally, in some jurisdictions, applicable law may give you the right to limit the ways in which we use your PII, in particular where (i) you contest the accuracy of your PII; (ii) the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your PII; (iii) we no longer need your PII for the purposes of the processing, but you require the information for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or (iv) you have objected to the processing pursuant to your right to object to processing (below) and pending the verification whether the legitimate grounds of Nventify, Inc. override your own.
Objection to Processing. In some jurisdictions, applicable law may entitle you to require Nventify, Inc. not to process your PII for certain specific purposes (including profiling) where such processing is based on legitimate interest. If you object to such processing, Nventify, Inc. will no longer process your PII for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for such processing or such processing is required for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
Children
Nventify, Inc.’s Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. Children under the age of 18 may not register for an Account or use or access Nventify, Inc.’s Services.
Responding to Do Not Track Signals
Our Site does not have the capability to respond to “Do Not Track” signals received from various web browsers.
The Security of Your Information
We take reasonable administrative, physical and electronic measure designed to protect the information that we collect from or about you (including your PII) from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Please be aware, however, that no method of transmitting information over the Internet or storing information is completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Services and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.

Our Services may contain links to websites and services that we are owned or operated by third parties (each, a “Third-party Website”). Any information that you provide on or to a Third-party Website or that is collected by a Third-party Website is provided directly to the owner or operator of the Third-party Website and is subject to the owner’s or operator’s privacy policy. We’re not responsible for the content, privacy or security practices and policies of any Third-party Website. To protect your information, we recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of all Third-party Websites that you access.
International Transfer
Your PII may be transferred to, and maintained on, computer located outside your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you’re located outside the United States and choose to provide your PII to us, we may transfer your PII to the United States and process it there.
California Privacy Rights
California residents may request and obtain from us, once a year, free of charge, a list of third parties, if any, to which we disclosed their PII for direct marketing purpose during the preceding calendar year and the categories of PII shared with those third parties. If you are a California resident and wish to obtain that information, please submit your request by sending us an email at support@nventify.com with “California Privacy Rights” in the subject line.
EU Data Subject Rights
If EU data protection laws apply to the processing of your personal data by Nventify, then the following terms apply:
For the purposes of the Nventify image processing platform, we are a data processor and our customers are data controllers,
or data processors as well. Where we process your personal data as a data controller, our legal basis includes processing that is:
- Necessary for the performance of the contract between you and Nventify (for example, to process your account and payment details).
- Necessary to comply with legal requirements (for example, to comply with applicable accounting rules or to make mandatory disclosures to law enforcement).
- Necessary for our legitimate interests (for example, to manage our relationship with you and to improve the website and our Services).
All other processing of your personal data are based on your consent which may subsequently be withdrawn at any time by emailing support@nventify.com without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In addition to your rights under other sections in this policy, you have the following rights:
AT ANY TIME, CONTACT US IF YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR CONSENT TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA. EXERCISING THIS RIGHT WILL NOT AFFECT THE LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING BASED ON CONSENT BEFORE ITS WITHDRAWAL.
You have the right to ask us about the personal data we process about you, the purpose and nature of the processing, and to provide information on who we share it with.
You have the right to request that we update, correct, delete (assuming that this does not impact the services we are providing to you) or export (port) your data, as well as the right to object to processing and lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
If you exercise one (or more) of the above-mentioned rights, in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, you may request to be informed that third parties that hold your personal data, in accordance with this policy, will act accordingly.
You have the right to opt-out of receiving certain emails (e.g., marketing communications) at any time by following the relevant unsubscribe process outlined in the applicable email. We may also contact you via email in the context of our contract (transaction) to give you information about the transaction or the term of your license.
Given the transactional nature of these emails, these are necessary in order for us to manage our relationship with you and you may not be able to unsubscribe from these transactional emails.
You may ask to transfer your personal data in accordance with your right to data portability. You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affecting you.

Note that when you send us a request to exercise your rights, we will need to reasonably authenticate your identity and location.
We will ask you to provide us credentials to make sure that you are who you claim to be and will further ask you questions to understand the nature and scope of your request.
If we need to delete your personal data following your request, it will take some time until we completely delete residual copies of your personal data from our active servers and from our backup systems.
